Motion to disagree with the decision made by the Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee (DPRRC) not moved

House of Lords

A step of type Business step.

The Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee examines all legislative reform orders. It considers whether the draft legislative reform order should be approved. If the committee is not satisfied that the Order meets the tests set out in the 2006 Act then the order cannot proceed. The Government or a member can table a motion to disagree with the committee's decision. Members or Government can choose not to move a motion before or after debate.
