A step of type Business step.

Under section 268 of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016, the enhanced affirmative procedure usually follows a 40 day period before the instrument can be approved. However, under subsection 5 either House of Parliament can resolve with a 30-day period to extend the approval period to 60 days.
