Commencement Order made (signed into law) triggering approval period Routes

Made affirmative instruments made under Section 55(3) in conjunction with Section 56(5) of the Sanctions Act are subject to an approval period. The approval period does not begin until the first day on which any provisions of the regulations comes into force. Provisions come into force on any such day that an appropriate Minister considers it appropriate to do so, this is usually done by the making of a commencement order.

There are 3 routes.

  1. A Route from AC Decision to Commencement Order made (signed into law) triggering approval period as part of the Made affirmative procedure

  2. A Route from Commencement Order made (signed into law) triggering approval period to AN NOT as part of the Made affirmative procedure

  3. A Route from Commencement Order made (signed into law) triggering approval period to AY OR as part of the Made affirmative procedure
