Motion to disagree with the procedure recommendation made by the Commons committee not moved

The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee examines all legislative reform orders. It considers whether the minister has recommended the appropriate level of scrutiny and can require a higher level. It has 30 days to do this. The Government, or member, can table a motion to disagree with the recommendation. Members or Government can choose not to move a motion before or after debate.
