Affirmative pre-approval period ends Routes
A step of type Business step.
A draft legislative reform order under the affirmative procedure must lay before the House for 40 days. During that time the relevant committees can take evidence and report their findings on the instrument. At the end of the 40-day period, the draft order can be approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
