Objection period A ends Routes

A step of type Business step.

The time available for both Houses to object to the treaty, if they wish. Usually 21 days from when the treaty is laid but the Government can issue a statement extending the period. During the objection period treaties can be withdrawn, while procedure concludes at that point it does not affect the objection period end date.

There are 3 routes.

  1. A Route from CU AND to Objection period A ends as part of the Treaties subject to the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 procedure

  2. A Route from Objection period A ends to AQ OR as part of the Treaties subject to the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 procedure

  3. A Route from Objection period A ends to BW NOT as part of the Treaties subject to the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 procedure
