Instrument made (signed into law)

A step of type Business step.

A statutory instrument is ‘made’ when signed by the minister (or person with authority under the Act); in other words the instrument is not in draft.

Librarian notes

Scope note: For made SIs we actualise this at the start of procedure. For draft SIs we need to check and update these like we do indexing.
