A step of type Business step.

A draft legislative reform order under the super-affirmative procedure must lay before the House for 60 days. During that time the relevant committees can take evidence and report their findings on the instrument. Representations can also be made. At the end of the 60-day period, the minister must make a statement stating whether any representations were made and the draft order can be approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

There are 2 procedures.

Legislative Reform Orders (LROs) are a specific type of delegated legislation that the Government can use to remove or reduce burdens that result directly or indirectly from legislation, or to promote principles of better regulation. They are made under terms set out in the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006 and are subject to scrutiny by a special committee in each House.
